Hook Shot
One of the toughest shots to master, yet Joe has it in the bag. You can too. With some simple pointers, Joe relays how to take aim and curve the ball over to where you want it to go. Comes in handy in the face of obstacles and oddly shaped courses.

gilles, where should the ball position be in stance in relation to front foot. thanks in advance
can u be of any help
i am a11 handicap player but sometimes things get out of hand without any reason
Any help for us left handers??
Thanks Joe, for keeping it simple, but can you expound briefly on squaring the club face? Is it a result of a conscious effort to turn the hands over at impact, or is it the physiology of the swing as it relates to clearing the hips and accelerating the club to a natural, balanced finish? Honestly, golf has got me by the throat, and the better I get, the harder it is to get better! 12 in CO. THX
Great tips but the advertising banner obscures Joe's feet and the ball so it's impossible to see the setup.

Joe best info on golf i have seen . Thanks Lakeman
Great stuff Joe! Keep them coming! Can you show us the fade/slice? Thx.
Exact same principle in reverse. Aim clubface at target. Aim your body line to the left far enough to clear your obstacle then grip the club. After you strike the ball, momentum initially carries the golf ball in the direction of your body line and then the side spin created at impact turns the ball to the right toward the target. (Note: the open clubface adds more loft while decreasing distance so you'll need more club to get the distance you want.)
